'Redisplaying the D-Day Museum: told through 20 artefacts'.
The D-Day Museum in Portsmouth opened in 1984, and is currently undergoing a complete redisplay as part of a major Heritage Lottery Fund-supported project. The talk will look at the approach that the museum is taking to telling the story of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy through the artefacts in its collection. The Talk will take place at the National Army Museum in London - we are grateful to NAM for hosting the talk.

This talk replaces that by Dr Simon Trew on women during the Normandy campaign on the same date. Dr Trew's talk has had to be cancelled.
