Garden Scene
Roxie François and Emily Coombs
Roxie and Emily wanted to express the horror and destruction of war in an ‘everyday’ scene.  They have a created peaceful garden scene with vegetable plot that has been destroyed during an air raid.  In the scene you can see the fire that is still burning and the bodies of the family who had lived in the now destroyed house.
